Accessories for the Absolent ODF Oil Smoke Fitter and ODR Oil Smoke Filter include
Differential Pressure Gauge
DTV-2000 and DTV-5000 Differential pressure monitors are designed to indicate high pressure drop across the Absolent filter cassettes. The pressure monitor can be equipped with LED(24V), and is combined with an indicating lamp to ensure filter change. It can also be used to transmit a potential-free signal. The reading can then be accessed on the machineoperator’s computer or be transmitted to a central maintenance department.
Liquid Trap and Receptacle
Spray System (ODR)
If the contamination is ”too dry” or contains liquid particles with too high of a viscosity (gooey), the self-cleaning capacity of the filter degrades and the life-cycle decreases drastically. To increase the liquid content and/or decrease the viscosity, little drops of liquid are added to the air through a nozzle. The added liquid has to be able to dissolve the contamination. For emulsions, use water.

Fire Trace - Automatic Fire Suppression System
Fire is a very valid concern in any machining facility. Fires occurring in machines running oil-based coolant can cause significant damage in seconds and potentially spread throughout the facility causing extensive damage. Even in the presence of operators, machines have been completely destroyed.
A Firetrace automatic fire suppression system installed on a machine helps alleviate much of this danger. Firetrace brings reliable, CNC machine machine fire protection to equipment ensuring that fires will be quickly detected and suppressed, often before damage is done to the machine.
The red Firetrace Detection Tubing (FDT) is at the heart of the system. By routing the tubing throughout the machine Firetrace can detect a fire at its source no matter where it starts. The placement of this tubing reduces activation time and potential for damage. Tests have shown that under normal circumstances FDT detects a fire 10 times faster than traditional methods.
