Oil Mist
Filters
Contaminated air is sucked into the inlet in the bottom section of the assembled unit (1) and passes through the first pre-filter (2) where most of the oil particles are trapped. The pre-filter becomes saturated with the oil, which is drained into a collection tray and then passes out through a return pipe (7). The air then proceeds through a second pre-filter (3) where any remaining large particles are filtered out (on ODF 2000 and higher). The air is then sucked up through the fan (5) and filtered through the Absolute filter (4), after which it is usually clean enough to be returned directly to the premises (8). |
